What We Offer
Salary
: $70,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

The Role
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Assistant F&B Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations across all RCYC dining outlets. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining high service standards, managing the beverage program, supporting events, and developing FOH staff. You will also act as Manager on Duty and provide coverage for the Banquet Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations across all food & beverage outlets and act as Manager on Duty during peak shifts
Manage the Club's beverage program, including ordering, inventory, pricing, and seasonal updates
Support FOH recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, and real-time coaching
Deliver pre-service briefings and ensure consistent service excellence
Build strong member relationships and promptly address service concerns
Collaborate with the Events and Banquet teams to execute weddings, Club events, and private functions
Provide operational leadership and coverage in the absence of the Banquet Manager
Maintain up-to-date POS (Jonas) and reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable)
Assist with monthly inventory, invoice tracking, and administrative reporting
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and promote a clean, professional environment
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and hospitality leadership
What You Bring
3+ years in a supervisory food & beverage role; private club or upscale hospitality experience preferred
Smart Serve certification required; mixology, bartending, or hospitality training is an asset
Experience managing staff, schedules, and service standards in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with POS (Jonas), reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable), and Microsoft Office
