Job Summary

As Assitant Director of Operations, you will be supporting the General Manager in managing all aspects of our business.

As Assistant Director of Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, guests, contractors, non-profit organizations and Levy team members.
  • Act as a liaison with the team, including the partner\'s operations team, Levy team and other areas as required to ensure effective operational performance.
  • Plan and coordinate special projects in conjunction with sales, department directors, human resources and the general manager.
  • Achieve daily sales targets, assigned cost targets and assigned budget targets.
  • Assist department heads to develop their leadership skills and abilities.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure the service delivery meets specifications, customer expectations and quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure required daily/service reports are completed in a timely manner and information is compiled at month-end close.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in food service management or equivalent.
  • Experience in catering and banquet services, particularly in the organization of major events.
  • Experience managing multiple units.
  • Extensive experience in maintaining positive professional relations.
  • Financial management skills
  • Experience working in a standardized environment and with food standards.
  • Advanced English and French language.
