SCO was established 24 years ago by the Chiefs as an independent organization to protect, preserve, promote, and enhance First Nation peoples inherent rights, languages, customs, and traditions through the application and implementation of the spirit and intent of the Treaty-making process.SCO provides competitive compensation and excellent pension and benefits, as well as a positive work environment.OVERVIEW:Under the direction of the Director of Communications, the Assistant Director of Communications will be responsible for supporting a variety of communication needs and initiatives of SCO and the Southern First Nations Network of Care.The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing, proofreading, and creating content for use in internal or external communications. The Assistant Director will work collaboratively to coordinate communications materials for the public, media, and organizations members.
