is looking for a dedicated

Assistant Department Head

to support our growing academic team in the areas of mathematics and science.

As an Assistant Department Head, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our courses meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and student engagement. Working closely with the Department Head, Vice Principal, Principal, and Academic Team, you'll contribute to course development, academic oversight, and student support while helping shape the future of online education.

Key Responsibilities:

Course Development & Quality Assurance

- Assist in researching, developing, and refining course content to align with Ministry of Education (MOE) guidelines.

Academic & Administrative Support

- Investigate academic integrity concerns, review teacher-student interactions, and assess grading practices.

Student Support & Tutoring

- Provide real-time academic support through our Online Tutoring platform.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Work closely with the Principal, Vice Principal, Department Head, and Academic Team to enhance teaching strategies and improve student outcomes.

Process Improvement

- Continuously seek ways to enhance course materials, teaching practices, and administrative processes.

Who We're Looking For:

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent

, with qualifications in mathematics and/or science.
?

Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or equivalent

is required.

Experienced Educators

- You have a strong background in teaching and curriculum development, with expertise in mathematics and/or science.

- You can analyze course content, identify gaps, and ensure alignment with MOE requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
