Our diversity extends to the aspect of the areas studied - biological, mechanical, behavioral and sociocultural.Through our research, teaching and various service arms within the Faculty, we pride ourselves on being dedicated to improving the quality of life and the health of our communities through physical activity, sport and recreation for more than 50 years.Position SummaryReporting jointly to the Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation (KSR) and the Director, Faculty Development, College of Health Sciences, the Assistant Dean, Development will focus on the fundraising, donor engagement and stewardship priorities identified by the Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation (KSR).The Assistant Dean, Development is responsible for designing and implementing alumni engagement and fund-raising strategies of the Faculty as they relate to various constituencies, including alumni, friends, the University community and the wider professional community. Such strategies include the planning and execution of philanthropic solicitations; the explanation of the Faculty's priorities in face-to-face visits with stakeholder individuals and constituencies; and stakeholder engagement events.In both design and implementation, the Assistant Dean, Development and the Director, Faculty Development, College of Health Sciences, works closely with the Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation (KSR) as a valued and integral member of the senior administration.Duties
