We're looking for someone just like you for a 12-month maternity leave contract to support our Financial Controller! Going beyond traditional accounting, you'll be a true business partner whose analysis and recommendations will guide our decisions. Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end accounting cycle: Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
  • Turn data into strategy: Produce clear and impactful financial statements that tell a story and help guide the company's future.
  • Act as a financial detective: Dive into the numbers to identify trends, provide insightful analysis, and actively help shape business strategies.
  • Become an agent of change: Continuously improve our financial processes. Your mission is to find smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • Ensure flawless tax compliance: Manage government remittances with the rigour and proactivity that provides peace of mind.
  • Orchestrate the annual audit process: Serve as the main point of contact for our external auditors, making the audit a smooth and constructive experience.
Qualifications
  • You proudly hold your CPA designation and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • With 3-5 years of experience, you've already made your mark in the financial field.
  • You've mastered the MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and can navigate accounting standards (GAAP and IFRS) with remarkable ease.
  • Your meticulous nature and critical thinking skills allow you to see what others might miss, ensuring an impeccable quality of work.
  • Juggling priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment is second nature to you.
  • You know how to translate the complex language of numbers into clear and compelling recommendations, backed by outstanding French communication skills.
