Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices and compliance with regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities



Oversee and manage account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Assist in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. Participate in budgeting activities, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning. Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor management. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for financial reporting and data management. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial statements and reports for management review. Support the Controller in various financial audits and compliance activities.

Experience



Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Assistant Controller or similar position. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, payroll processes, budgeting, and accounts payable functions. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,060.15-$105,241.28 per year
