Lakewest Ford Lincoln is looking for a Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and reconcile all vehicle related schedules. Processing on demand cheques including lien payouts, customer refunds and dealer trade purchases Review and balance of commissions for bi weekly payroll. Back up for daily departmental cash deposit and clearing accounts. Reconcile the floorplan for month-end and annual bank audit review Assist in month-end and year-end closing. Setup and update of Employee Payroll / Benefit administration Backup for processing of the biweekly payroll. Other accounting duties as required by management. This position will be a work in process as we continue to review various responsibilities of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Automotive dealership accounting experience is required as a controller or assistant to controller.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Ford experience is considered an asset.
