Assistant Brewer

Field and Forge Brewing Co. is looking for brewery professional to be part of an exciting opportunity in Innisfail, AB. Our brewery provides a unique opportunity for passionate individuals looking to collaborate with an enthusiastic team to build and grow a new brand.

The brewery includes a fully automatic four vessel brewhouse with packaging line and tap/dinning room.

We are currently offering an opportunity to join our team as an

Assistant Brewer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in executing the entire process involved in the production of beer Cellaring, yeast management and propagation and packaging Quality control - maintain a spotless brewery and ensure strict sanitation process Interface with customers and promote craft beer education Brand ambassador - participate in industry events, promotional activities and collaborate with other breweries and brewers
*Assist Brewer with all tasks and duties when required

Candidate Requirements:

Strong passion for craft beer Experience in a professional brewing environment ideal Strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly Good troubleshooting skills, safety conscious and mechanically inclined Attention to detail, highly organized and motivated with strong interpersonal skills Physically fit to work in all areas of a brewery - lifting grain sacks, cleaning, packaging kegs, and canning

Hours of Work:

The hours of work for this position will vary depending on organizational requirements, but may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
