We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, along with strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise, customer service acumen, and operational management to ensure the bakery runs smoothly while delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Duties

Supervise and train bakery staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ingredients as needed. Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, baking, and presentation of baked goods. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bakery environment. Assist in developing new recipes and menu items to enhance customer offerings. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members as needed. Foster a positive team environment by encouraging collaboration and communication among team members.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a bakery or food service environment, with a strong understanding of food safety practices. Previous experience in team management or supervisory roles. Excellent customer service skills with a hospitality-oriented mindset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as required. A passion for helping others and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
