Assistant Bakery Manager

at our Food Store in

Leduc, AB.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of a busy Bakery Department. Duties will include:


The hiring, coaching, and mentoring of team members. Baking and cake decorating. Packaging, ordering, merchandising, and stocking shelves. Customer service. Make sure the bakery is clean. Administrative tasks such as inventory count and control, auditing of food safety and health and safety tasks. Reviews of financial information to improve operational efficiencies.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:


You have a minimum of high school. You have a minimum of 3 years Baking experience, preferably in a retail environment, a journeyperson baking certificate is an asset. You are highly motivated, and work well in a team environment. You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do. You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
