Shipwheel Cattle Feeders Ltd. is a fourth-generation family farm located in Taber, Alberta. Our 5500-head feedlot, summer grazing operation, and commitment to regenerative agriculture form the core of a business that blends tradition with bold innovation.
We produce more than high-quality cattle. Our diverse operation includes compost production (three unique types), seasonal honey and fruit, and pasture-raised eggs. We believe that the health of our soil, our animals, and our team are all connected -- and we're proud to lead with that mindset.
Animal care is the cornerstone of everything we do. Using principles of proper stockmanship, we handle cattle with patience, awareness, and respect. We believe calm animals perform better -- and we work to create a low-stress environment that benefits both the cattle and the people working alongside them.
If you're someone who values purpose-driven work, thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment, and wants to be part of a forward-thinking team that's reshaping what agriculture can be, we want to hear from you. We're currently looking to add a
key full-time team member
who shares our values, work ethic, and long-term vision.
Join us at Shipwheel -- where legacy fuels progress, and every day is an opportunity to lead the way.
