We know it starts with people like you, so take a chance and start with us.Department: People Places & Spaces (PP&S)Job Number: REQ7534Location: Edmonton / Calgary, AB (Onsite)Apply by: May 12, 2024Paygrade: K - OTHSystem Title: Facilities Manager 6# Positions available: 1Leader Name: Senior Manager, Asset ManagementWork Arrangement: Onsite: This opportunity will be required to be in-office at an ATB location 100% of the timeAs ATB\'s next Asset Manager with People Places & Spaces (PP&S), you will report to the Senior Manager Asset Management. You\'ll be part of a team of 3 Asset Managers (North/Central/South Regions) and will be independently accountable for the facility element conditions to achieve Facility Condition Index (FCI) goals. This will be accomplished through your expert use of AssetPlanner tools, report analysis, AssetPlanner iAuditor program, inspection program, maintenance program & life cycle planning/prioritization. You\'ll travel to each site in your region on a quarterly basis to independently complete audit and inspection work, as well as repairs and maintenance. While onsite, you\'ll build relationships with onsite team members, educating them on facility processes and tools, and maintaining the client facility experience integrity. These roles are required to be on call approximately once every eight weeks.These roles are pivotal in executing on the PP&S Strategic Blueprint objectives. We are excited to further develop FCI annual targets and to elevate our corporate and branch facility maintenance, enhancing the client and team member experience. This role will be instrumental in continuously improving the facility data integrity, integrating this data in all aspects of our business to drive future decisions. Maintaining the facilities and managing the life cycle work is also a key accountability.PP&S is ATB\'s real estate and facilities business unit and leads: real estate strategy, workplace optimization & experience, spatial design, construction, project management, leasing & subleasing management, facilities management & maintenance, asset management, facility operations, occupational health & safety, and physical security. PP&S oversees ATB\'s 1.5 million square feet of space and the team is deeply connected to transforming banking through ATB\'s client facing locations, and leading the way with corporate workplace transformation, both of which bring ATB\'s mandate to life and make it possible for Albertans.Asset Manager Accountabilities:

  • Repairs and maintenance to complete maintenance requests during quarterly site visits
  • Asset Planning Module Data Integrity and Management, incl. Facility Elements, Signage, Banking & Physical Security Equipment
  • Bi-Annual Facilities Audits & Documentation, incl. subleased spaces
  • Bi-Annual Facilities Inspections & Documentation, incl. subleased spaces
  • Life Cycle Project Identification and project closeout activities
  • Asset Planning Module FCI Management
  • Maintain Client Facility Experience integrity
  • Facilities Furniture Inventory Management including delivery and installation of small furniture items to ATB locations
  • Storage Management of ATB chattels and storage areas
  • Surplus Asset Management including coordinating the disposition of assets
  • Quarterly Hazard Assessment Reviews
  • On Call Rotation accountability approximately every 8 weeks
  • Basic fleet vehicle operation, maintenance and tool & supplies inventory
  • Travel throughout the geographic portfolio each week for +/- 3 days

  • You are a high energy, self-starter and possess excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
As the ideal candidate you possess:
  • Facilities Management designation (CFM, RPA, FMA)
  • 3+ years of asset management planning experience
  • Asset management software experience, preferably AssetPlanner Asset Planning Module
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Asset life cycle management experience
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills
  • Experience maintaining the client and team member experience within space
  • Repair and maintenance skills
  • Experience with a distributed retail network
  • The ability to travel each week for 3-4 days
  • A valid class 5 driver\'s license
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, policies, regulatory requirements and industry information affecting ATB\'s environment.
  • Technical skills, including G-Suite, and experience learning and adapting to new technologies and software.
