Overview


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support property operations, enhance tenant relations, and contribute to the overall success of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and familiarity with property management software such as Yardi. This position is integral to maintaining high standards of property maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Duties



Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders using property management systems like Yardi and CMMS Conduct data entry, filing, and record keeping to ensure accurate tenant and property documentation Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, prospective clients, and vendors via phone and in person Support marketing efforts by assisting with leasing inquiries and showing available units Negotiate lease terms and rent adjustments with prospective tenants while maintaining positive relationships Maintain organized office procedures including filing, correspondence, and administrative tasks Handle phone etiquette professionally when communicating with tenants, vendors, and team members Support financial processes such as rent collection, invoicing, and tracking payments

Experience



Prior office or administrative experience preferred within property management or real estate environments. A minimum of 3 years. Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is a must. Experience in sales or customer relationship management enhances success in this role Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and record keeping Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette Knowledge of negotiation techniques related to lease agreements and tenant interactions Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Advanced skills with Microsoft suite, specifically excel and PPT.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
