Asset Management Coordinator

Full Time, Permanent Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Services, the Asset Management Coordinator will oversee the Town\'s Asset Management Program, including maintenance of the Town\'s Asset Management Plan and Policy. The incumbent will maintain the Town\'s Capital Asset Inventory, including developing data collection, asset maintenance, and condition assessment programs, and develop and maintain the Town\'s Asset GIS model under the guidance of the GIS Specialist. The Asset Management Coordinator will use the Town\'s Asset Model and Inventory, the Town uses PSD Citywide software to manage its assets, to provide input to Management regarding long-term strategic capital planning. Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s Degree in a related field (Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field);
- Three (3) years\' of relevant experience;
- Class 5 Driver\'s License is required;
- Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Asset Management software is required. Experience and/or knowledge of ArcGIS and PSD Citywide Asset Management Software is considered an asset;
- An understanding of financial and accounting principles, and knowledge of Asset Management principles, processes, and practices;
- Good written and verbal communication skills; and
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
