Position Overview

We are currently seeking an

experienced Asphalt Spreader Operator

to join our paving crew. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating pavers (screed and hopper) and leading efficient paving operations with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate asphalt paver and screed to spread and level asphalt mixtures Ensure smooth, even surface and proper compaction Assist in setup, cleanup, and maintenance of paving equipment Work closely with the paving foreman and crew to ensure project timelines and standards are met Monitor asphalt mix temperature and material flow Maintain a clean and safe job site

Qualifications

Minimum

5 years experience

operating asphalt spreaders/pavers Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and grades Ability to work long hours and weekends during peak season Reliable transportation to and from job sites Safety-conscious and team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license (DZ/AZ preferred but not required)
