Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Skid Steer Operator

with asphalt experience to join our paving crew. The ideal candidate has experience operating skid steers in tight spaces and is confident working around paving equipment and crews in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate skid steer safely and efficiently on active asphalt job sites Load, move, and place asphalt and other materials as directed Assist with site preparation, grading, and cleanup Work closely with the paving crew and follow direction from the site foreman Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance as needed Ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards

Qualifications:

1-3 years experience operating a skid steer in asphalt or construction environments Strong knowledge of asphalt handling and site safety protocols Ability to work efficiently and precisely in tight or high-traffic work zones Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather Valid G license required (DZ/AZ is an asset) Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
