Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, paving, and construction. This role is essential to ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. The Laborer will work alongside skilled tradespeople and contribute to various construction tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment(e.g. skid steer, roller) safely and efficiently as required for various construction projects. Assist in paving operations, including preparing surfaces and applying materials. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials on-site. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years asphalt experience is required. Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Knowledge of paving techniques and construction processes is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week
