Ace Enterprises Ltd is a 100% locally owned & operated construction company located in Yellowknife, NT. Established in 1994, we specialize in aggregates, sewer & water, asphalt and concrete. We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Crew Foreman for the 2026 paving season. Responsibilities

Supervise and direct paving crew to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide work activities. Coordinate with project managers on project timelines, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and enforce safety protocols on-site. Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets industry standards and client expectations. Perform site inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed, safety incidents, and project milestones. Lead efforts in construction estimating, contract management, and managing project budgets. Operate and maintain paving equipment as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites. Proven experience in equipment operation and knowledge of equipment maintenance. Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience on large-scale projects. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.

Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
