The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of our AS400 systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. The role involves troubleshooting, monitoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide excellent operational support. Key Responsibilities: AS400 System Administration: Manage and maintain AS400 systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware and software components. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the availability and reliability of AS400 environments. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing AS400-related queries and issues promptly. Collaborate with other IT support teams to resolve user problems and ensure seamless operation of AS400 systems. Proven experience in AS400 administration and support roles. Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries hardware and software components. Familiarity with RPG programming language is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
