WeCreArt Studio is a private professional art studio, specializing in Visual Arts tutoring programs for K -12 students in Vancouver. The instructor team is led by an art teacher who has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. Currently, we are looking for Junior Fina Art teachers to help the drawing and painting classes of young kids between K to Grade 4. We are looking forward to candidates with the ability and interest in teaching children art, managing their behaviors, and monitor their performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides learning experiences and teaches the course of study prescribed by the director

Instructs pupils in art, such as painting, sketching, designing, and sculpturing:

Prepares lesson plans and establishes course goals. Performs pre-designed courses or develops new courses if needed.

Provides individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs and motivate students.

Establishes and maintains standards of student control required to achieve effective participation in all activities.

ABOUT YOU

Fina Art Bachelor's undergraduates or students are welcome. Experiences in art instruction will be a plus.

Keen to work with children, so talkative, energetic, kind, and cooperative.

Ability to manage student behavior, time, and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and administrative skills

English tutoring is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Vancouver, BC V6S 1B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:

teaching: 1 year (preferred)
