We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Art Teacher with a strong background in architecture. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide students who aspire to pursue architecture as their major. You will be responsible for teaching art with an emphasis on architectural principles, techniques, and applications, providing students with a solid foundation for their future studies in architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive art lessons with a focus on architectural concepts and techniques.
- Introduce students to architectural history, design principles, and practical applications.
- Foster a creative and supportive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and critical thinking.
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students develop their skills and portfolios.
- Organize and supervise projects, workshops, and field trips related to architecture and art.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate art and architecture into the broader curriculum.
- Prepare students for university-level architecture programs by assisting with portfolio development and application processes.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in art and architecture education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Architecture, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional experience in architecture is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in teaching art and/or architecture to high school or college students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
