Erindale School of Music & Arts is looking for an energetic and responsible Art Instructor to teach students of different ages in a group setting from 4:35-8:15 pm on the weekday. To join our team, you must meet the following requirements.
Part-time hours: 3-4 per week Salary: $30.00-$33.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
sanitizer Education:
- Have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Fine Arts
- Minimum one-year work experience as an Art Teacher
- Love working with children and am comfortable teaching students of different ages (5 years old to early teens)
- Lead art classes with 7- 8 students. Motivate and engage students
- Actively guide students toward completing the assigned project
- Classroom management
- Advance student knowledge
- Lesson plan development
- Room setup and organization
- Have the ability to teach sketch, watercolor, acrylic paint, drawing
- Have the ability to identify different level students\xe2\x80\x99 needs in class and to offer customized advice or solutions for improvement
- Provide instruction by which students develop the ability to make quality artworks
- Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and painting
- Understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, and under-painting.
- Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing media technique
- Evaluate each student\xe2\x80\x99s performance, and communicate with parents on student\xe2\x80\x99s progress
