This full time permanent role is located in office in Regina, SK. Art Director The essence of our culture is respect for creativity. The Art Director\xe2\x80\x99s role is essential to interpret concepts and copy into completed designs and be fully immersed from concept development to fulfillment of the strategy. As an Art Director you will spend about 30% of your time managing artistic direction, developing creative concepts and 70% designing great work. You will direct shoots, proof work and oversee graphic design. You will design and direct in digital and traditional formats \xe2\x80\x93 brand development, digital, TV, print, billboards, speciality items and more. Education Degree, diploma or certificate in creative arts, visual communications, graphic design or advertising Diploma or certificate in graphic design, specifically Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (After Effects and Premiere are assets) Experience and why it is important 4+ years working in a leadership role inside a creative ad agency or as a leader within an in-house marketing team, where you have tremendous influence and maybe not direct authority (management) of other co-workers Previous work as a graphic designer, fine artist, editor, or photographer, or in another art or design occupation is essential to understand and manage the creative direction of campaigns Expert understanding of the design process \xe2\x80\x93 technically speaking Creative chops and the ability to separate critique from personal criticism.
