Hazelton Fine Art Galleries - Port Carling (Muskoka) Pop Up Hazelton Fine Art Galleries (Yorkville) has a strong presence in Toronto and internationally and is recognized as one of the most diverse galleries in the city with over 100 artists and featuring a wide variety of high calibre works including contemporary art, modern masters, traditional and historical paintings, as well as contemporary bronze and Inuit sculpture. We are expanding with a pop up gallery in Port Carling from May-October Art Consultant/Sales Assistant\'s position:
- assisting with daily operation of the gallery
- promote the artwork exhibited
- provide assistance and deliver as much information on the works of art
- process sales transactions
- assist in maintaining a strong client base
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- must be willing to work with a minimum amount of supervision
- knowledge in fine art an asset
- experience in retail and sales preferred
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 8-40 per week Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Day range:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Specialty store
- Port Carling, ON P0B 1J0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
