The course focuses on developing and making ceramics in the studio. Through demonstrations and practice-based learning, students will be introduced to the skills and concepts of atmospheric firing.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must possess an MA/MFA in Ceramics or closely related Visual Arts field (BFA for current U of R MFA Visual Arts students), expertise in atmospheric firing processes, evidence of a contemporary Ceramics practice, and an active record of dissemination in Ceramics. University teaching experience is preferred.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
ART 290AP-040 is currently scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays from 1130-1415 on Campus.
