The Area Sales Manager (Western Canada) will be responsible for providing sales coverage within their defined Area for all ANDRITZ Separation product lines including centrifuges, belt filter presses, filter presses, controls, and ancillary equipment. They will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work very closely with the various Service Center Managers, Product Specialists, and Customer Service Reps.

Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:

  • Within the assigned Area, act as the ANDRITZ Separation representative to the customer.
  • Assess, evaluate, establish, and develop opportunities within the assigned Area to grow the business.
  • While representing all assigned divisional product lines, perform regular visits to Area customers.
  • Maintain active communications with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate customer visits in writing via CIC reports in an established timely and consistent manner.
  • Assure customer satisfaction throughout the Area.
  • Responsible for the Area's revenue, forecasts, cost controls, and other budgets and reports.
  • Initiates, builds, and enhances relationships with customers and strategic partners.
  • Evaluate and define key account sales strategies and tactics.
  • Assist in co-coordinating ANDRITZ activities in each account.
  • Pass on sales opportunities/leads to the ANDRITZ Capital Sales group.
When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or 5 years of experience with centrifuges or similar industrial or process equipment.
  • Sales experience and established relationships with the customers in the assigned Area is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS teams, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with colleagues and customer.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of self-confidence.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and technical writing skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; valid passport and driver's license required.
  • Willingness to travel (60-80% overnight travel will be required in this territory).
  • Ability to communicate fluently in French an asset.
