AREA MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary: Currently, Borealis Fuels & Logistics is looking for an Area Manager to lead the Yukon operations in Whitehorse. Borealis deems this position an essential and key role within its organization for its operations in the northern region of Canada. The Area Manager would be responsible for Borealis\xe2\x80\x99s interest in the Yukon Region and report to the Executive Team. Duties & Responsibilities: \xe2\x97\x8f Support Borealis\xe2\x80\x99 vision of LPG service excellence in the Yukon
\xe2\x97\x8f Manage day-to-day operations of Borealis in the specified area, including but not limited to:

• Customer service;
• Service Team scheduling and manage priorities;
• Fuel dispatch management;
• Truck and equipment service and maintenance;
• Assets and inventory management;
• Yard organization and maintenance.

\xe2\x97\x8f Support the development of Borealis\xe2\x80\x99 Parts & Services division in the Yukon
\xe2\x97\x8f Help Borealis build and lead a strong service team with skilled labour
\xe2\x97\x8f Mentor and coach new employees
\xe2\x97\x8f Manage weekly operations meetings with the Borealis team
\xe2\x97\x8f Participate in Business Development activities and initiatives
\xe2\x97\x8f Participate in community events funded by Borealis POSITION REQUIREMENTS \xe2\x97\x8f Entrepreneurial experience and extensive leadership skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of the propane and LPG industry is preferred
\xe2\x97\x8f Class 3 driver\'s license with air brake endorsement preferred
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient with computers and office software
\xe2\x97\x8f Exceptional communication and time management skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Multi-tasking and the ability to work with teams
\xe2\x97\x8f Communication and self-organization skills and hands-on mentality
\xe2\x97\x8f Attention to detail and a self-starter
\xe2\x97\x8f Full-time role and need to reside in Whitehorse, Yukon Salary Expectations:
