Architecture Construction Engineering Technologist

Job Description

Become an integral part of the award winning Pioneer Craftsmen team as we develop and construct unique renovation solutions for home owners in Waterloo Region and Guelph. You will develop accurate and detailed construction drawings and construction estimates including scopes of work that will enable the Project Manager to lead the on-site team to successful completion of renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Liaison with sales and design staff to understand clients' renovation objectives and help determine a feasible solution.2. Participate in site investigations where necessary to ensure structural understanding of "as built" structures and advise sales and design team of potential concerns. This may include participation in a trades day on site prior to construction sale3. Complete detail construction drawings for building permit and construction4. Apply for Building permits5. Develop project budgets to assist sales and design as required6. Request trade partner quotations for specialty work7. Create accurate construction estimates8. Write clear detailed scopes of work that sales can use to secure construction contract and that site teams can use to build the renovation accuratelyYou'll become an ambassador for quality, integrity, and true artisanship.
