• Work under the Design Director and with the Design Team to produce construction drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Support the design and detailing of modular buildings, including drafting construction drawings, site plans and other building aspects as required.
• Prepare detailed architectural schedules, windows and door schedules.
• Support the bidding and purchasing process with take-off documentation and calculation.
• Assist team in interpreting and using technical information.
• Analyze and understand building code reviews to ensure code compliance in design work.
• Interact with engineering consultants.
• Assist with the creation of as-built drawing and documentation.
• Assist with energy modelling efforts for projects.

Education & Experience

• A diploma or certificate in building engineering technology, architectural technology, or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of drafting software, preferably Archicad.
• Working knowledge of National Building Code, National Energy Code.
• Good understanding of building science and construction methodology.
• Construction background an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
