Join the Fusion Team We are searching for an exceptionally talented Architectural Technologist to join our growing team and help us deliver on our customer promise. This individual will be a key player in our customer experience, working closely with internal and external teams to bring the customers\' vision to life. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

  • Executing preliminary and production drawings, inclusive of lot specific extras, grading calculations, window schedules, and curb cuts
  • Coordinating, reviewing and revising architectural drawings, specifications, and details to ensure that all documentation complies with OBC and Fusion\'s standards for building permit application and construction
  • Working cross-collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Estimating teams to prepare all custom house plans, including marketing sketch creation, estimates, and construction drawings
  • Supporting the new product design process including structural, HVAC, and plumbing analyses, new architectural and structural plan design, and marketing fact sheets
  • Performing site analyses for all new land purchase deals to ensure optimal model fit, calculating frontages and maximum footprint
  • Liaising with site, outside vendors, city officials, permit offices, and head office. Conducting site visits to correct and improve information shown on working drawings, and details.
What you bring to the table:
  • Post-secondary education related to Architectural Technology; BCIN is required
  • 5+ years in an Architectural Technologist role or equivalent; 1-3 years of practical construction estimating experience considered an asset
  • Proficient and well-versed in Autodesk Revit
  • Impeccable detail-orientation, time management, and prioritization abilities
  • The ability to foster accountability through relationship building and strong interpersonal skills
