About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Architectural Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our growing ASM division. This role oversees daily field operations, manages crews, and ensures projects meet LAING's safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

As we expand across BC and the Yukon, you'll lead skilled teams on large-scale projects and help shape our next phase of growth. This hands-on leadership position requires technical expertise, strong communication, and a commitment to mentoring while upholding LAING's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage ASM crews on commercial/industrial projects Plan schedules, assign tasks, and meet productivity goals Interpret blueprints and shop drawings accurately Coordinate materials, deliveries, and equipment with project teams Oversee fabrication and installation of panels, flashing, soffit, fascia, and custom details Enforce safety standards through meetings, inspections, and compliance with WorkSafeBC Maintain logs, photos, and progress reports Mentor apprentices and crew members to build skills and accountability Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and leadership Model professionalism, precision, and pride in craftsmanship

What We're Looking For

5+ years of architectural sheet metal experience, including 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory role Proven ability to lead teams while maintaining quality and timelines Strong knowledge of fabrication, layout, and metal panel installation Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings Valid Fall Protection, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications (other tickets are assets) Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Committed to safety, teamwork, and LAING's core values

Pay: $43.00-$47.00 per hour
