, is a growing residential design group specializing in high-quality architectural drafting for single-family homes, townhouses, and small-scale developments. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our team on a contract basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Calgary-based drafter who can independently produce

complete Development Permit (DP) and Building Permit (BP) drawing packages

for City of Calgary submission. Because projects may require site visits or in-person coordination,

only Calgary-area candidates will be considered

.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

full DP and BP drawing sets

for residential projects Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and construction details Ensure all drawings meet the

City of Calgary

zoning bylaws and building code requirements Revise drawings based on city comments and client feedback Attend local site visits or project meetings as needed Manage your own drafting workflow and meet deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience drafting

townhouses, multi-family or similar residential/commercial projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit is required

Experience preparing

permit-ready drawing packages

Familiarity with the Alberta Building Code and residential construction standards

Understanding of City of Calgary permitting processes is an asset Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication and organizational skills Must be

based in Calgary, AB

What We're Looking For

A proactive, reliable individual who produces clean, accurate drawings

Strong Revit skills are required

; proficiency with AutoCAD is also expected. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively. 1-5 years of architectural drafting experience (residential experience an asset).

Compensation

Salary is based on experience and may vary depending on qualifications.
