We're growing, and we're looking for an Intermediate Architectural and Construction
Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on details,
organization, and coordination -- and wants to grow their career in the glazing and
construction industry.
What You'll Be Doing
Review architectural drawings and perform accurate material takeoffs.
Prepare cost estimates for glass, aluminum, hardware, labour, and
subcontractors.
Request, compare, and track vendor quotes for materials and hardware.
Draft proposals, scope sheets, and bid packages.
Maintain pricing databases and support updates to estimating templates.
Prepare purchase orders once projects are awarded and help with change order
pricing.
Track project deadlines, delivery dates, and supplier communication.
Coordinate project handoff to operations and keep documentation organized.
Communicate clearly with project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients.
What We're Looking For
5 years of experience in commercial glazing, doors/frames/hardware, or related
construction trades (shop, field, or office).o Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with glazing
software is an asset.
Strong numerical accuracy, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
Professional communication skills -- written and verbal.
Post-secondary education in construction, architectural technology, or
engineering is an asset.
