THE FIRM
TalentSphere has partnered with a mid-sized architectural firm widely known in Ottawa for its work in complex mid to high rise projects with private property developers. They also do feasibility and master planning. They seek an OAA licensed architect to join a collaborative team of professionals.

This role is based in Ottawa and requires candidates to relocate to the nation\'s capital, where living costs are 10% cheaper than Toronto (https://bit.ly/44fYhv0); leafy community are well-designed and commutes rarely exceed 30 minutes. Ideal move for a young professional without children looking to live in a modern city with less stress.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Ontario Architect (OAA) with a portfolio of mid to high rise projects (12-30F); open to OAA architects, junior to senior architects, as long as they have experience dealing with property developers on complex mixed use projects
• Strong OBC skills & experience dealing with value-engineering associated with rental property builds
• Exceptional communication skills; ability to confidently deal with large developers on complex projects that involve master planning, project coordination, and contract administration
• Solid contract administration skills: the ability to be client facing and deal with changing priorities, RFIs, SIs & change orders
• An ability to successfully manage a project from Pre-Design through occupancy
• Solid Revit, AutoCAD, MS-Suite and project management software
