Company description (We are only looking for people who is fully trained in Archicad) Please do not reply, unless you have experience in Archicad We are a small residential drafting and design company that creates residential designs for homes of all sizes including Single Family Homes, Duplexes, Row Housing, Multi-Family. We are looking to hire candidates who reside in Edmonton, Alberta. We are not looking to sponsor people from overseas. Job description Experience in residential home design. Protech Home Design is a boutique residential design firm with a broad range of projects. We are growing and are currently looking to find creative talent to continue to join our team. As a company we seek to provide a comfortable work environment to enable our employees to be successful within the company and in their personal lives. Are you an architectural draftsperson with experience in residential design? Do you work well in a team environment? Would you be able to check over completed floor plans to ensure accuracy and catch any mistakes? You must have a minimum of 3 years experience creating residential floor plans. We are not looking to mentor anyone newly graduated from school at this time. Priority will be given to candidates that attach a sample residential floor plan for us to review. This includes foundation, main floor, upper floor all four elevations, cross sections, roofing and detailing. Please do not attach any portfolios that do not demonstrate residential work in Canada specifically. You must have the following skills to apply:

• Experience in RESIDENTIAL home design
• Expert level knowledge of using Archicad and AutoCAD
• Ability to create cross sections, elevations, floor plans, basement, roofing details etc.
• You must have comprehensive knowledge of accurate measurements and dimensions
• Expert familiarity with Alberta Building Code & Community Architectural Guidelines
• Ability to check over completed plans to ensure compliance with building codes and requirements to
• Creativity in design
• Must have a knowledge of wood frame construction of north american homes.
