: Bronson Enterprises is an Arboriculture service provider based in Claresholm, Alberta. We are dedicated to maintaining the health and beauty of Southern Alberta's trees. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Arborist Assistant to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and ready to settle in Southern Alberta for a stable career.

The Opportunity

: We are looking for a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and has a mechanical mindset. As an Arborist Assistant, you will support our Certified Arborists on the ground, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. This role requires a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to keeping our equipment in peak condition.

Key Responsibilities

:

Ground Operations: Assist the crew with but not limited to rigging, clean-up, and the safe operation of the wood chipper during tree removal and pruning projects.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to oil changes and greasing of heavy equipment, to ensure reliability.

Saw Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining chainsaws, including but not limited to regular cleaning and keeping chains sharp and ready for use.

Customer Service: Act as a friendly and professional point of contact for clients on-site, answering basic questions and ensuring their property is treated with respect.

Safety & Teamwork: Work closely with the team to maintain a safe job site, strictly following safety protocols and communicating effectively with crew members.

Qualifications

:

Attention to Detail: Must possess extreme attention to detail, particularly when inspecting equipment and cleaning up job sites.

Mechanical Skills

: Ability to perform essential maintenance tasks (oil changes, greasing) is required. Experience sharpening chainsaws is highly preferred.

Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor are essential.

Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, following instructions closely and supporting crew members.

Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Successful candidate must have a class 5 drivers license with Airbrakes endorsement (or willing to obtain airbrakes)
