Position: AR/AP Specialist
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Fully In-Office)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 (Based on Experience)
Bonus: Annual Performance Bonus (5-10% of Salary)

About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AR/AP Specialist to join a dynamic finance team within a leading freight forwarding company. This role focuses primarily on Accounts Receivable, with some Accounts Payable responsibilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and enjoys working collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments
Resolve discrepancies, short payments, and customer billing issues
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close tasks
Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company procedures
Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracy
Support audits and help improve AR/AP processes and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
2-3+ years of Accounts Receivable/Payable experience (AR-focused)
QuickBooks experience required
Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation is an asset
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service mindset
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Must be eligible to work in Canada (PR or Citizen)
