You're enthusiastic, organized, and ready to take the lead! You enjoy mentoring others, managing schedules, and jumping in where needed to keep things running smoothly. You bring:

Mandatory Qualifications at Time of Hire (to be maintained as a condition of employment)

High school diploma or equivalent Current within 2 years Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS) Current within 2 years Lifesaving Society Swim for Life or YMCA Swim Instructor (YSI) certification Current within 2 years Canadian Standard First Aid or equivalent Current within 1 year CPR C/AED certificate 2 - 4 years of lifeguarding experience Program management experience
Flexible hours are required -- including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What Else Do You Need?

Reporting to the

Program Manager

, you'll split your time between:

Supervising and training aquatic staff Coordinating schedules and in-service training Providing hands-on lifeguarding and instruction (approx. 20 hrs/week) Overseeing pool operations, safety checks, and lesson quality
