Generations Sport & Spine Physiotherapy is a leading provider of innovative rehabilitation services, dedicated to helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence. We specialize in patient-centered care and are proud to offer aquatic physiotherapy in our state-of-the-art temperature-controlled therapy pool.

We are currently seeking a skilled, compassionate and motivated Aquatic Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified physiotherapist with a passion for water-based therapy to make a real impact on patients' recovery and well-being. The Aquatic Physiotherapist is responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy programs conducted in an aquatic environment to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall function. This role combines the principles of physical therapy with the therapeutic properties of water to assist patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or living with chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments to determine suitability for aquatic therapy.

Develop and implement personalized aquatic therapy treatment plans for a variety of conditions including post-operative rehab, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Lead 1:1 and/or group aquatic physiotherapy sessions in a safe and supportive environment.

Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide progress reports to patients and referring practitioners.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, high-quality care.

Educate patients and caregivers on aquatic exercises and post-treatment care.

Maintain accurate treatment notes and adhere to safety and hygiene protocols within the aquatic facility.

Qualifications:

Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.

Certification or training in aquatic physiotherapy/hydrotherapy is preferred.

Current CPR and First Aid certification (including water safety training is a plus).

Previous experience in aquatic therapy or a strong interest in this area.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
