Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and helping new drivers develop essential skills for safe and confident driving. This role involves providing comprehensive driving lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring students meet all safety standards. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a background in tutoring or teaching. This is a paid position suitable for individuals committed to making a difference in learners' lives.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one driving lessons tailored to each student's skill level and learning style Prepare students for their driving tests by teaching traffic laws, safety procedures, and practical driving techniques Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve their driving abilities Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment during all lessons Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans Communicate effectively with students to address questions and concerns throughout the learning process Stay updated on current driving regulations and best practices in driver education

Experience

Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Classroom experience or background in education enhances effectiveness in instructing learners Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and vehicle operation preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary Previous experience working with diverse age groups is a plus
