CLOSING DATE: March 10, 2023 OUTLINE OF THE POSITION:
The Apprenticeship Service Program Project Manager is responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of the Apprentice Service Program by managing the development of project planning, monitoring and implementation and ensuring all work and activities are consistent with approved objectives, plans and budgets, and that the project is fully implemented within the required time frames; and supervising project staff and liaise and communicate with Small and Medium-sized Employers (SMEs) and apprentices, reports to
Director of Client Services and must comply with relevant legislation, T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1c\xcc\xa8h\xc7\xab Government policies and procedures and funding program criteria and regulations. EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • A diploma in project management and five-plus years of experience managing staff, leading teams, administering or delivering programs and services or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1c\xcc\xa8h\xc7\xab culture, values, health and social issues, and familiarity with the T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1c\xcc\xa8h\xc7\xab culture and way of life
  • Must be confident defining project parameters, making timely decisions, working with an oversight committee, managing staff, demonstrated skill in problem solving, research, analysis, planning coordination, monitoring and assessment
  • Ability to effectively manage a budget and staff working towards the implementation of the Apprenticeship Services Program, and with variety of people and circumstances, work independently, prioritize tasks, self-motivated and solutions-oriented
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Maintains a complete and accurate record of project activities in the community
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web conferencing software platforms, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web conferencing software platforms
  • Holds a Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Ability to speak the T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1c\xcc\xa8h\xc7\xab language is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months Salary: $98,000.00-$110,000.00 per year Benefits:
