Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level to 3rd year position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair, providing a foundation for a rewarding career in the construction and maintenance industry. The Apprentice Plumber will work on residential homes as a service tech and larger projects along with licensed plumber.

We will register upon completion of probation.

Responsibilities

Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project planning and execution Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, and assembling plumbing components Support the installation of pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing equipment according to specifications Participate in site preparation, including basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members Assist with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing systems as needed

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, or related fields is preferred but not required Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with guidance from experienced team members Strong basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during installations Good communication skills and willingness to learn new skills on the job Ability to work outdoors or in confined spaces as required by project sites Valid driver's license preferred for travel between job sites Prior experience or training in HVAC, carpentry, or maintenance trades is advantageous but not mandatory
