Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber in their 2nd and 3rd year of their apprenticeship to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working alongside skilled professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. This is a service focused position.

Duties

Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Participate in the assembly of plumbing fixtures and systems. Support construction activities related to plumbing installations. Gain knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing work. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. On-call rotation is required. Expectation is for the candidate to continue with their training and complete their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn more advanced skills. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage. Understanding of basic math principles for measuring and calculating dimensions. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience with service in both commercial and residential settings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Sting service experience is a must.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
