We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the construction and trades industry. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to develop essential skills and knowledge related to plumbing systems, tools, and safety protocols. Responsibilities
Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks
Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components according to specifications
Participate in site preparation, including carpentry work and basic construction tasks as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during work activities
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing equipment and tools
Requirements
Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing, construction, or related trades
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation and repairs
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending)
Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals
Prior experience in carpentry, HVAC, or maintenance trades is a plus but not necessary
Valid driver's license Class 5 for travel between job sites
Fluent in English
Attend Technical training Annually
