Position Summary:

IPH is looking for motivated apprentices working through the A1-A4 levels of plumbing apprenticeship to join our family. The successful candidate will support in various tasks including installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems on a multi-family construction site. This position offers hands-on training, development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and gas systems under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman Plumber & Gas Fitter. Learn to read blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to understand project requirements. Observe, learn, and assist in troubleshooting plumbing and gas system issues. Handle tools and equipment safely while ensuring proper maintenance and usage. Attend required training and coursework in accordance with the apprenticeship program. Adhere to company safety protocols, local codes, and industry regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to work in various construction environments. Ability to work in varying weather conditions where there is exposure to dust, water, noise and physical hazards. Enrollment in an accredited plumbing and gas fitting apprenticeship program. Basic understanding of plumbing and gas systems. Ability to work safely and follow instructions. Strong willingness to learn and advance in the trade. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
