Shop fab at our G.P. Shop, as well as some site work.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems used in various industries. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of these systems.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes using hand tools or machines
- Weld, braze, solder, or cement joints to connect pipes and seal leaks
- Install pipe hangers and supports to secure pipes in place
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and HVAC technicians to ensure proper system integration
- Perform routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure optimal performance
- Repair or replace damaged pipes or fittings as needed

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
- Skilled in welding, including various techniques such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding
- Familiarity with using hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, and pipe cutters
- Ability to fabricate pipes according to specific requirements
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$37.80 per hour
