Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair under the guidance of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and foundational knowledge of electrical principles.

Duties

Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial and construction settings Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide electrical work Work with low voltage systems as well as standard electrical circuits Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on-site Support the testing of electrical components and troubleshoot issues as directed Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored after use

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction processes Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage wiring is preferred Prior industrial electrician experience is a plus but not required; relevant coursework or training is beneficial Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior electricians BC driving license minimum 1 year experience
