Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated

Apprentice Electrician

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position offers hands-on training under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician while gaining experience in residential, commercial, and light industrial projects, including service work, generator systems, and heat pump installations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Support Journeyman Electricians with service calls, new installations, and troubleshooting. Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed and materials used. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings. Follow company safety procedures and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Qualifications

Registered (or eligible to register) as an electrical apprentice in Newfoundland & Labrador. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools. Have basic hand tools and power tools, and be able to use them competently and safely. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience in the electrical trade or completion of a pre-employment electrical program is an asset.
