Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and develop their skills in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians, providing a foundation for a successful career in the electrical trade. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and an interest in electrical installation and maintenance projects.

Duties

Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit installation, and other electrical tasks Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation work Work with low voltage systems as well as standard electrical wiring Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes during all tasks Support the setup of electrical components according to project specifications Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems

Experience

Prior experience in industrial electrician work or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, low voltage systems, and construction practices is a plus Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety procedures is advantageous Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied responsibilities within the electrical trade
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
